SRT Shipping Policies and Delivery
Thank you for visiting and shopping at the Seal Research Trust’s Online Shop
The following are terms and conditions that constitute the Seal Research Trust’s Shipping Policy

Order processing and shipment
All orders are processed within 5 business days. Orders are shipped at approx 4pm on Fridays and first thing on Tuesdays. Orders are not shipped on weekends or bank holidays

Please remember we are a very small charity and cannot compete with commercial business timings, due to having a small, part-time team. We thank you for your patience with us and are grateful for your support

You should receive an automatic email confirming your order shortly after placing it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder. If you cannot find it then please email shop@sealresearchtrust.com

Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be automatically calculated using the weight of the items ordered and will be displayed at checkout. Please check you have the correct shipping address entered before continuing to payment

Our prices are based on the Royal Mail charges, with £1 added for staff time spent packaging and posting

We only use recycled packaging wherever possible. If this is an issue for you, please email shop@sealresearchtrust.com with your requirements and we will aim to meet them

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to do tracked shipments

If you see any errors in the shipping rate you are given, or have any queries regarding them, please email us at shop@sealresearchtrust.com. We always try our best to get things right and appreciate you giving us a chance to correct our mistakes/oversights!

International shipments
SRT does ship internationally, but there are a few exceptions

Please note that, as the buyer, you are responsible for all and any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes and handling fees, custom clearance charges, etc. required to import consumer goods to your country

We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost, as it varies widely across the world. If you are ordering internationally, please do your research so you have an idea of what the additional costs may be

Carriers
SRT use Royal Mail Post Office delivery service to ship products: Royal Mail Terms and Conditions

Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase, please do get in touch with us via shop@sealresearchtrust.com and we will do our best to put this right

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase then we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, but do get in touch with us to see if we can help you

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether we will approve or reject your refund

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card/bank/original method of payment

Late or missing refunds
If you have applied for, but have not received, a refund, please first check your bank account, then contact your credit card company and or your bank, it may take some time before your refund is processed

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are sent defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@sealresearchtrust.com to arrange a replacement

Shipping
To return your product, email shop@sealresearchtrust.com for further instructions

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item

If you are returning an item worth over £30, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance

We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item
